We thank the Lord for the overturning of the 1973 Roe v. Wade decision at the federal level. However, we now face a once-in-a-lifetime vote at the state level. Kansans voting YES on August 2 will amend the State Constitution to restore protections for moms and babies. "Choose life, then, that you and your descendants may live" (Deuteronomy 30:19).
Do not be misled by those who present misinterpretations, half-truths or lies about this vote. Study the important facts regarding this amendment from:

Pray for moms facing difficult circumstances: pray the Rosary, asking our Mother Mary for help; join in activities at your parish (including prayer vigils the evening of Monday, August 1st, the day before Election Day); spend quiet time with Jesus as your guide (away from the noise and controversy). Jesus our Savior will touch your heart, and give you wisdom and courage to stand up against abortion.
“Our Blessed Mother cherished the life of the Baby of her womb. St. Joseph, the spouse of the Blessed Mother and the legal and foster father of the Child valued them both” (Bishop Carl A. Kemme). Scripture teaches us of another preborn baby boy, St. John the Baptist, and his mom Elizabeth: "When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the infant leaped in her womb" (Luke 1:41).
I urge you to vote YES on August 2. Thank you for standing up for the life of both the mother and her little girl or little boy yet to be born. Jesus loves them both, and all of us, more than we can ask or imagine!
Vote SÍ el 2 de agosto por a vida
Agradecemos al Señor por anular la decisión de Roe v. Wade de 1973 a nivel federal. Sin embargo, ahora nos enfrentamos a una votación única en la vida a nivel estatal. Los ciudadanos de Kansas que voten SÍ el 2 de agosto modificarán la Constitución del Estado para restaurar las protecciones para las madres y los bebés. “Escoge, pues, la vida, para que vivas tú y tu descendencia” (Deuteronomio 30, 19).

Los insto a que voten SÍ el 2 de agosto. Gracias por defender la vida de la madre y su niña o niño que aún no ha nacido. ¡Jesús los ama a ambos, y a todos nosotros, más de lo que podemos pedir o imaginar!
