‘May the rhythm of the liturgy
be the rhythm of your life’
During this season the Church prolongs the Easter she has just celebrated in each new offering of the Eucharist.
“The Son thanks the Father for having allowed him to be so disposed of that there comes about, at one in the same time, the supreme revelation of the divine love and the salvation of humankind,” as Hans Urs von Balthasar once had it.
He continued: “To receive into me the one who was sacrificed for me means to grant him space in, and power of disposition over, my whole existence, both spiritually and physically.”
And again: “And so the meal becomes the Church’s real sharing in Jesus’ flesh and blood in their condition of victimhood. The Church’s sacrifice is, therefore, at once distinct from that of Christ and identical with it, since it consists in a ‘feminine’ consenting to the very sacrifice of Christ.”
Each day in the week after Easter is a continuation of the celebration of Easter. The one Easter renews itself day after day for a week as it will renew itself Sunday after Sunday for a year.
May the rhythm of the liturgy become the rhythm of your life through all this season.

El ritmo de la liturgia
Durante esta estación la Iglesia prolonga la Pascua que ella justamente ha celebrado en cada nuevo ofrecimiento de la Eucaristía.
“El Hijo agradece al Padre por haberle permitido estar tan desprendido de lo que vendra, una vez en el mismo momento, la revelación suprema del amor divino y la salvación a la humanidad, “ como Hans Urs von Balthasar una vez lo tuvo.
